Costera Hotel - Istanbul

Multiple COCKROACHES roaming around, and let me tell you, they definitely did not upgrade us after that disaster, nor did anyone care! I mean, who charges for a coffee-stained towel? They really have the audacity, don't they? I almost thought about a good review, but just couldn't.

The a double room was equipped with basic facilities, including cable channels, a mini bar fridge and a dining area. The beds were amazing, view of the Sea of Marmara was good. The location was perfect, not too far away from Basilica Cistern...

It is set in a safe area, close to a museum and a basilica. The rooms are well-equipped with balcony, so that guests have essentials.

For a great family experience, be sure to request rooms on higher floors to minimize noise from the street below.

And they were great too ensure we were comfortable. The room was impeccably clean, and the rooftop view during breakfast was a good way to start the day. The breakfast selection could have been more varied.

I was really disappointed with the room I received as we booked a Standard King Room but were given a much smaller connecting room instead. This negatively affected our experience since we could hear everything from the neighboring room. The cleanliness left much to be desired, with used towels presented as if they were fresh, and the staff's responsiveness was alarmingly poor throughout our stay.

The staff were very helpful and professional, providing great tips about the city. the hotel's location is the best and strategic, with close proximity to a museum and a basilica. There is a metro station conveniently located near the property.

The location is fantastic, just a 10-minute drive to downtown, and the staff here is incredibly nice and friendly, making everything enjoyable.
